MTA Banquet
In
August 2006, Charles Iaun was named MN Trucking Association’s Driver of
the Month. On
January 22, 2007
, the MTA had their
Driver of the Year Banquet where Charles was recognized with fellow award
winners.
Charles
Iaun: at the age of 15 began driving trucks on a farm. He moved on to
drive large military trucks while in the Army from 1960 to 1963. He then
left the Army and has driven large civilian trucks ever since.
Charles and wife, Betty, spent 11 years running produce to
Alaska
and bringing fish back
to
California
.
He came to drive for Koch Companies in May of 1999 hauling general
freight from
California
to
Minnesota
and back.
Charles said when he decided to be a truck driver he wanted to be
the best and safest driver he could be.
For the last 46 years he has driven safely over 4 million miles.
Charles said he never expected to ever be honored as a driver
because he would never make the decision between him and 11 other
honorees. He is the kind of man that any Company would be proud to have as
one of their drivers and representatives.
Besides being an excellent and safe driver, Charles helps younger
drivers that are new to the
OTR
driving field.
He’s a member of the Highway Watch Program that helps keep our
nation safe and secure.

Veterans.
All
of us at Koch Companies are proud to have Charles as a member of the
“Koch family”. Charles,
we thank you for who you are and what you do as a professional driver in
