“I cannot begin to count the number of emails, phone calls and ‘elevator’ feedback I receive about her enthusiasm, professionalism, patience, knowledge and positive attitude,” Smith said. “Her efficiency, creativity and ability to work as a team player make her beneficial in every way.”

Herndon, a native of New Jersey, lives in Jacksonville with her husband, Craig, and their two young children. Outside of Landstar, Herndon spends most of her time with her family and working towards her master’s degree.

Woodhouse, a sales coordinator in Brokerage Services for the Landstar Carrier Group, has been with the company since October 2004. She was nominated by several of her co-workers and a Landstar agent, who all say that she exemplifies hard work and professionalism.

“Sandy is one of those employees who will take on any task without question. If you give her details on a task, she is off and running,” said Aaron Peterson, a brokerage sales manager in Brokerage Services for the Landstar Carrier Group. “Sandy cares about her position and assisting those around her with whatever she can. She is also that rare employee, so driven to succeed, that you often have to tell her to go home.”

Woodhouse is a native of the Northern Illinois area and lives in Rockford with her husband of 10 years, Jim. Outside of work, Woodhouse enjoys spending her time reading and taking walks.
